Project description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer / Business Analyst (m/f/d) for one of our clients, with extensive expertise in Java backend development, CRM systems, and agile methodologies. You will play a key role in the design, development, and quality assurance of complex software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Active involvement in shaping the technical direction of projects, as well as actively sharing best practices and performing the placement of technical approaches within the team
- Development of solution concepts, specifications, and technical decision documents
- Design and implementation of robust, scalable Java backend solutions based on current technologies (Java 21, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate)
- Developing and optimizing interfaces to CRM systems via REST APIs and file synchronization
- Designing and implementing container-based microservice architectures in cloud environments
- Ensuring high code quality through code reviews, static code analysis, and automated tests
- Development and maintenance of technical guidelines and development standards
- Close collaboration with product owners, functional areas, and other development teams in an agile environment
- Support for the continuous improvement of development processes and CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Extensive experience in technical project roles at the management level (Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or similar)
- Expert knowledge of Java (up to Java 21), Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate
- Extensive experience in developing and connecting REST APIs, as well as integrating CRM systems
- Practical experience in designing and operating microservice architectures with Docker
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and version control using Git
- Proficient use of Project Management and documentation tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong analytical skills and experience in business analysis for complex software projects
- Extensive experience in agile software development (Scrum)
- Fluency in German (required); business-level English is a plus
