Project description
An international healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer. In a diverse product environment, you will be responsible for developing scalable test strategies and enhancing quality across multiple software and technology layers.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee end-to-end test strategies for unit, integration, system, UI, stress, and performance tests
- Develop test harnesses and CI pipelines that detect regressions early and provide reliable feedback quickly
- Build and continuously expand automated tests for C++ desktop, .NET, and modern web applications
- Plan and execute stress and performance tests, analyze bottlenecks and stability risks, and implement improvements in collaboration with the development teams
- Collaborate closely with software development, architecture, and product management, and promote “shift-left” and test-driven practices
- Utilize AI agents to generate, maintain, and analyze tests, and develop reusable QA workflows for teams
- Ensure transparency of test results and drive continuous improvement in product quality
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of senior-level experience in test automation and with multi-tier test frameworks
- Extensive hands-on experience in stress and performance testing, as well as in the analysis of complex error patterns
- Strong programming skills in at least one language such as C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern testing tools
- Proven track record of effectively utilizing AI in QA processes, such as for test generation, maintenance, or defect triage
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a consistent commitment to quality
- Fluent English; knowledge of German is a plus
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Experience with Ranorex, Playwright, Cypress, or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of penetration testing
- ISTQB certification or a comparable qualification
- Experience with AI agents, reusable skills, QA workflows, AI pipelines, and context engineering
