Project description
An established provider in the healthcare sector is looking for an experienced software developer to build customer-focused applications. As part of an agile team, you will develop modern software using Kotlin and Java and gradually integrate agent-based AI into your daily development work.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design and develop customized software solutions
- Implement backend applications and services using Kotlin, Java, Spring, and other technologies
- Develop object-oriented designs and technical concepts and coordinate them with the team
- Ensure software quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous optimization
- Support applications and development processes using Docker, Gradle, and CI tools
- Collaborate in Scrum or Kanban teams, share knowledge, and find pragmatic solutions to technical challenges
- Test agent-based AI in the creation of code, documentation, and tests, and integrate it effectively into development work
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification in software engineering
- Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin, as well as experience with object-oriented software development
- Practical experience with Spring or Ktor and with build and testing tools such as Gradle and JUnit
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, and agile teamwork
- Knowledge of Docker, GitLab, SonarQube, or Cucumber
- Initial practical experience with agent-based AI to support development, documentation, or testing
- Analytical thinking, a sense of personal responsibility, and a solution-oriented approach to work
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Expertise in digital signatures and encryption methods
- Knowledge of the German healthcare system
- Experience with other CI/CD and quality assurance tools
