Project description
An international healthcare provider is seeking an experienced full-stack and AI engineer for a SaaS project. We are looking for someone who can develop modern web applications holistically and confidently integrate agent-based AI features into production-ready products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate modern SaaS web applications across frontend, backend, and DevOps
- Implement AI-native features and agent-based user experiences using LLMs, retrieval, tool usage, and structured workflows
- Develop reliable, secure cloud services and improve developer productivity within the team
- Continuously refine shared agents, skills, pipelines, and development workflows
- Collaborate closely with Product Management & UX, Architecture, and Engineering to establish technical best practices
- Understand healthcare workflows and design user-centric features that deliver measurable value to healthcare professionals and patients
- Actively improve engineering and AI engineering quality within the team
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of senior-level experience in full-stack engineering of modern web applications, ideally with end-to-end responsibility in a product context
- In-depth practical experience with React or Angular, as well as with Java/Spring Boot or Python
- Experience with cloud and DevOps environments, as well as the secure operation of production services
- Proven effective use of AI in software engineering, including agent-based coding workflows and context engineering
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Business-level German and fluent English, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Knowledge of C#, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, or ArgoCD
- Experience with LLM integrations, such as Azure OpenAI, Anthropic SDK, or MCP
- Practical experience with Claude Code or similar coding agents, as well as in the design of AI pipelines and harnesses
