Project description
An innovative company in the energy and FinTech sectors is developing a digital platform for retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and evaluation of the existing IT architecture in terms of stability, scalability, maintainability, and future-proofing
- Examination of the AWS infrastructure, as well as the components and operational processes in use
- Evaluation of the interaction between the Java backend, React Native frontend, and Event Store-based architecture
- Identification of technical risks, bottlenecks, dependencies, and potential single points of failure
- Evaluation of suitable applications for artificial intelligence across the platform and relevant business processes
- Development of a roadmap for AI-supported, highly automated features—from conception to technical implementation
- Assessment of suitable technologies, frameworks, and services for implementation on AWS
- Documentation of the results and presentation of recommendations for action to relevant stakeholders
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of experience as an IT architect or solution architect
- In-depth knowledge of AWS and cloud-native architecture principles
- Extensive experience with Java-based backend systems and distributed architectures
- Practical experience with event sourcing, event-driven architecture, or event stores
- Experience with React Native or comparable mobile front-end technologies
- Proficiency in architectural methods, technical due diligence analyses, and risk assessments
- Ability to present complex technical issues in a way that is understandable to management and functional areas
- Experience in evaluating or designing AI-powered applications and automation solutions
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Knowledge of the energy, finance, or insurance sectors
- Experience with B2C platforms and strict data protection and security requirements
- Knowledge of MLOps, generative AI, LLM integration, or intelligent automation processes
- Experience with DevOps, observability, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
