Project description
A company based in Linz is driving the digitalization of its process landscape and is looking for an experienced senior-level Appian developer to join its existing project team.
Responsibilities
- Design, development, and enhancement of process applications on the Appian low-code platform
- Implementation of business unit requirements into functional Appian applications (SAIL interfaces, process models, integrations)
- Independent requirements gathering and direct coordination with the functional area without ongoing client support
- Providing technical advice to the functional area on feasibility, effort, and alternative solutions
- Design and implementation of data models and system integrations within the Appian environment
- Close collaboration with the existing project team (development, project management, other Appian developers)
- Ensuring the quality, maintainability, and performance of the developed applications
- Active participation in the continuous optimization of existing Appian solutions
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of verifiable experience as a senior-level Appian developer
- Proficiency with SAIL interfaces, process models, integrations, and data modeling in Appian
- Experience implementing complex, enterprise-wide Appian applications
- German proficiency at least at the C1 level, both spoken and written
- Strong communication skills, including when interacting with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and responsibly without close supervision
- Confident, professional demeanor when meeting with clients on-site or during remote meetings
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Appian certification (e.g., Senior Developer, Lead Developer)
- Industry experience relevant to the client's field
- Knowledge of related topics such as API integrations, RPA, or process automation
- Experience with agile projects (Scrum/Kanban)
