Project description
An anonymous financial services provider specializing in retirement and financial products is seeking an experienced AI consultant to support the company-wide AI transformation.
Responsibilities
- Identification of AI optimization opportunities across the entire value chain (sales, underwriting, customer service, back office)
- Conducting ideation workshops with functional areas and management to develop concrete AI use cases
- Developing a company-wide AI roadmap for digital transformation
- Evaluating and prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and implementation effort
- Designing and implementing initial pilot projects to validate selected use cases
- Development of a target operating model for the sustainable integration of AI capabilities within the company
- Development of business cases to support investment decisions
- Close coordination with IT, compliance, and data protection to ensure regulatory requirements are met
- Presentation of the results and roadmap to top management
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- At least 5 years of experience as an AI/Digital Consultant, ideally with a focus on financial services or insurance
- Proven experience in developing AI strategies and roadmaps
- Experience facilitating ideation and design thinking workshops
- In-depth knowledge of current AI and GenAI technologies and their potential applications in the financial sector
- Experience in designing and implementing AI pilots and proofs of concept (PoCs)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as confident stakeholder management at the C-level
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA, EU AI Act) in the financial and pension sectors
- Experience with cloud-based AI platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI)
- Certifications in AI/data strategy or Project Management (e.g., SAFe, PMP)
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary, international teams
