Project description
A medium-sized enterprise based in the Netherlands is looking for a technical implementation specialist for a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration involving approximately 100+ users.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on implementation of tenant-to-tenant migration for Exchange Online, including mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and permissions
- Migration of OneDrive and SharePoint Online between tenants
- Setup and configuration of common migration tools for cross-tenant scenarios
- Preparation and execution of pilot and batch migrations, including validation
- Verification and restoration of permissions, groups, and forwarding rules after migration
- Implementation of migration steps in accordance with project management guidelines
- Error analysis and follow-up during the cutover period
- Documentation of the steps implemented and handover to the project team
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of experience with Microsoft 365 migrations (Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Experience with cross-tenant migrations and common migration tools
- Solid knowledge of Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), and PowerShell
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A structured, meticulous approach to work with a focus on data integrity and documentation
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Proficiency in German
- Experience with migrating shared mailboxes and complex permission structures
- Microsoft 365 Administrator certification (MS-102) or equivalent qualification
- Experience with tenant consolidations or hybrid scenarios
