Project description
A major financial institution in Abu Dhabi with an international presence is seeking an experienced network engineer with a focus on Cybersecurity. The project is embedded in a security-critical transformation and stabilization environment and focuses on the further development of resilient network and security structures. We are looking for a hands-on, strong-willed individual who can plan, implement, and commission complex infrastructures on-site.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of network, VoIP, and security infrastructures in a security-critical enterprise environment
- Development of robust network designs for complex IT landscapes, including the integration of new and existing components
- Execution of technical migrations and the structured transition of network and security architectures to production environments
- Implementation of defined security and compliance requirements within ongoing infrastructure and Cybersecurity projects
- Analysis and resolution of major incidents with a focus on stabilization, hardening, and sustainable troubleshooting
- Configuration, testing, validation, and technical acceptance of network and security solutions
- Preparation of traceable technical documentation, operational manuals, and handover documents
- Close collaboration with project teams, security functions, and operational units in an international setting
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of experience as a network engineer in complex enterprise or security-critical environments
- Excellent knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, PKI, and SD-WAN technologies
- Experience in planning, implementing, and migrating network and security infrastructures
- Expertise in implementing security and compliance requirements
- Practical experience in configuration, test management, acceptance procedures, and technical documentation
- Willingness to work primarily on-site in Abu Dhabi on a full-time basis
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Knowledge of the SINA environment or comparable high-security solutions
- Experience and knowledge in the field of cyber/GRC
- Experience in the financial services industry or other regulated sectors
- Proficiency in handling critical incidents and managing stabilization phases of major infrastructure programs
