Project description
We are looking for an experienced MicroStrategy consultant for a bank with offices in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main to assist with the migration from MicroStrategy on-premises to the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Support for migrating MicroStrategy On-Premises to the cloud
- Installation and support of MicroStrategy platforms
- Setup and support of system resources for reporting products
- Consulting on the efficient use of technology products (infrastructure, high availability, access management, future-proofing)
- Consulting on the planning, implementation, and application of processes for the assigned technology products
- Housekeeping: data backup procedures, environment management, monitoring
- Consulting on application development as part of the further development of applications on MicroStrategy
- Deployment of objects to the development, test, pre-production, and production environments
- Implementation and verification of permissions in accordance with the central permission management system
- Automation using Ansible (IaC) to optimize the platform and perform installations
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Very good to fluent German language skills (at least C1)
- Proven IT project experience in MicroStrategy cloud migrations
- Experience installing, administering, and maintaining MicroStrategy platforms
- Knowledge of access control and housekeeping processes (backup, monitoring, environment management)
- Experience with automation using Ansible (Infrastructure as Code)
- Permanent position subject to social security contributions required
- Willingness to be present regularly in Berlin and Frankfurt (for onboarding and PI planning)
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Experience in change, test, and release management
- Knowledge of ITIL v4 or comparable experience
- Experience in the banking sector or a regulated environment
- Strong communication skills when interacting with stakeholders)
