Project description
An internationally active company in the field of transportation and infrastructure planning is seeking support for the digital design of a domestic container depot. The company is looking for an experienced ICT and digitalization expert with in-depth knowledge of logistics and terminals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document ICT and digitalization requirements for an inland container depot
- Define requirements and specifications for terminal operating systems (TOS) and automation systems
- Recommend suitable digital solutions to increase operational efficiency and transparency
- Develop an integration architecture for rail, customs, and logistics platforms
- Prepare a conceptual plan for integration into the National Single Window and propose an integration strategy
- Provide support in preparing technical bid documents for ICT components
- Evaluate bidders’ ICT proposals from a technical perspective and develop recommendations for decision-making
- Provide requirements and recommendations regarding cybersecurity, data management, and sustainable system architecture
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- At least 10 years of experience with ICT systems in logistics, transportation, or terminal operations
- Practical experience with terminal operating systems, port community systems, or logistics platforms
- Experience with automation, gate management, and data integration platforms
- Proven expertise in system integration across multiple stakeholders, e.g., ports, customs, rail, and logistics service providers
- Experience in digitalization projects for logistics or transportation infrastructure
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business informatics, or a related field
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data governance, and digital architecture
- Experience with integration into national single-window systems
