Project description
An established IT and ERP consulting partner serving medium-sized enterprises, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and proprietary industry solutions, is seeking an experienced consultant (m/f/d) with in-depth controlling expertise to advise clients and implement accounting and controlling processes.
Responsibilities
- Consulting and implementation for the Accounting and Controlling functional areas in Business Central, from support to design
- Conducting process analyses as well as FIT/GAP analyses and deriving viable solution concepts
- Mapping cost accounting, activity-based costing, cost estimation, cost center and cost object accounting, as well as income statement accounting within the system
- Gathering and evaluating customer requirements, as well as defining technical specifications for individual solutions for development
- Conducting functional acceptance and integration tests
- Preparing and conducting key user and end-user training sessions, as well as creating process descriptions and documentation
- Independently facilitating workshops, implementation, and go-live, with the potential to serve as a sub-project manager
Requirements
Must-have
These criteria are required for the project.
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and/or controlling
- In-depth knowledge in several areas, such as cost accounting, income statement analysis, budgeting and planning, management reporting, and financial accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision
- Ability to analyze business processes and clearly communicate technical requirements to developers
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Willingness to travel within North Rhine-Westphalia
Nice-to-have
Not required, but a plus for your application.
- Experience as a consultant, organizational consultant, or ERP consultant in the finance sector
- Practical experience with activity-based costing and complex controlling processes
- Experience in process optimization and the digitalization of financial processes
- Experience as a subproject manager or in key-user training
- Good command of English
